RSPB Installation
The RSPB created an origami-themed installation at the Trafford Centre in Manchester, featuring more than 1,000 paper cranes displayed around bamboo sticks. As part of the installation, they wanted an interactive animation that would invite visitors to “interact with nature” through a large touchscreen.
I worked together with John Lumgair to create the interactive experience, featuring a selection of UK wildlife. The idea was to create a playful conversation starter, giving people a reason to stop, interact and draw them into the wider RSPB installation.
John and I designed and animated it together: He worked on the background design while I focused on the characters, and we split the character animation between us. I've build the interactive part in Rive and Robin Clarke did the lovely sound effects.
