Kids Timer App
How do you get little kids to brush their teeth for a full 2 minutes? That question became the starting point for Kids Timer - Duck & Friends, a playful visual timer designed to make short daily routines feel positive.
The design was built around simplicity. A large circular countdown, bold numbers, and vibrant colors help young children see time passing without needing to read.
Small interaction details were chosen to reduce friction for both children and parents. There are no ads, no complex menus, and 8 characters (and counting) to choose from. When the timer finishes, the character celebrates, providing a gentle sense of reward. The result is a calm, child-friendly timer that supports routines such as tooth brushing, tidying up, getting dressed, and bedtime transitions.
