This animation for Earth4All explores two different paths for our future: one where we continue as we are, and another where the world takes a ‘Giant Leap’, rethinking capitalism and moving beyond GDP.

Earth4All is a group of economic thinkers and scientists who have developed a framework exploring different scenarios for our future. Their research looks at environmental and socio-economic variables including investment, energy use, taxation, savings, education, inequality and social trust.

The animation highlights the changes needed to address climate change while building more resilient and equitable societies.

After receiving the script from the agency, I developed the storyboard, working out how to visualise the different scenarios and communicate the impacts of climate change.

For the final visuals, I brought in Pat Grivet, who took my storyboard frames and developed them into colourful, polished styleframes while staying true to the visual direction.
